On Tuesday, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) provided a brand-new update on the Pragyan Rover mission of Chandrayaan 3, which is now exploring the lunar south pole.
The rover is currently on its journey to learn more about the Moon, according to ISRO, who posted on X (previously Twitter).
“Hello earthlings! This is #Chandrayaan3’s Pragyan Rover. I hope you’re doing well. I want to let everyone know that I’m on my way to uncover the secrets of the Moon. Me and my friend Vikram Lander are in touch. We’re in good health. The best is coming soon,” ISRO InSight posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).
On August 28, ISRO reported that the Pragyan Rover had discovered a crater with a diameter of 4 meters on the lunar surface.
“Chandrayaan-3 Mission: On August 27, 2023, the Rover came across a 4-meter diameter crater located 3 meters ahead of its location,” the ISRO wrote on X (formerly Twitter). The Rover was instructed to follow the path again.
The rover is presently safely moving down a new path, according to ISRO.
