Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated 551 development projects worth Rs 1,885 crore in Siddharthnagar on Friday, marking a significant milestone in the district’s journey towards development. The Chief Minister, during the unveiling ceremony, praised the collective efforts of the “double engine government” in lifting Siddharthnagar from underdevelopment and emphasized the critical role of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh’s progress.
Among the projects unveiled, CM Yogi laid the foundation stone of a Nursing College in Madhav Prasad Tripathi Government Medical College, highlighting the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure. In an official release, CM Yogi credited the double-engine government for effectively addressing the district’s historical challenges, including the lack of basic amenities and job opportunities.
The Chief Minister lamented the past marginalization of the local populace by mafia influences, which deprived them of their rights and government benefits. He also acknowledged the significant strides made in combating issues like encephalitis-related child fatalities and emphasized the elimination of mafias and mosquitoes from the district under the current administration.
Highlighting the benefits accrued to the underprivileged, CM Yogi mentioned housing initiatives, free health insurance up to Rs 5 lakhs, and a provision of free ration for five years. He also noted the substantial improvements in educational and healthcare facilities in Siddharthnagar, attributing these achievements to the policies championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During a public gathering, CM Yogi questioned the ability of previous administrations, including those of the Congress, SP, and BSP, to deliver similar benefits or facilitate major projects like the construction of the Ram temple. The audience responded with a resounding “No,” affirming their support for the current government’s initiatives.
CM Yogi further highlighted India’s economic growth under PM Modi’s leadership, expressing optimism about securing the third spot among world economies with a third term for PM Modi. He also praised the hard work of local MP Jagdambika Pal, emphasizing the importance of his continued role in Siddharthnagar’s development.
The unveiling of these development projects underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and improving the quality of life for the residents of Siddharthnagar.
