Headlines: PM Modi Launches Blistering Critique of Congress, Accuses Party of Outsourcing Leadership
Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a scathing critique of the Congress party on Monday, asserting that it has relinquished its autonomy, with “urban Naxals” now at the helm.
Addressing the Karyakarta Mahakumbh in Bhopal, PM Modi lambasted the Congress for subcontracting virtually every aspect of its governance, contending that the party’s leadership no longer holds the reins.
“The Congress has entirely lost its determination. Grassroots leaders within the Congress have fallen silent, their voices stifled. Initially, the Congress suffered from mismanagement, followed by financial insolvency, and now they’ve delegated their responsibilities to others. The party is no longer guided by its leaders. It has outsourced everything, from slogans to policies, and this contract is now in the hands of urban Naxals,” PM Modi declared.
PM Modi intensified his critique by suggesting that Congress leaders born into privilege perceive the colonies of the underprivileged as mere backdrops for video shoots.
“For Congress leaders born with a silver spoon in their mouths, the lives of the poor hold no value. To them, the struggles of the underprivileged are akin to adventure tourism. For them, the residences and settlements of less fortunate individuals have become venues for video recordings. This is not a new development; they have done this before. The BJP government is showcasing a prosperous and grand image of the country to the world,” PM Modi asserted.
PM Modi vowed not to let the citizens of the nation face deprivation, emphasizing that his dedication, work ethic, and vision are distinct from others’.
“My commitment, diligence, and vision set me apart. For me, nothing surpasses the nation and its people. While I have faced challenges, I will not allow the people of this nation to be denied anything,” PM Modi affirmed.
The Prime Minister urged BJP party workers to dedicate themselves fully to securing victory in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly election.
“For a developed India, a developed Madhya Pradesh is of utmost importance. To achieve this, the BJP government should remain in power for the next five years. Thus, it is the responsibility of every BJP worker to give their 100 percent,” he encouraged.
Simultaneously, he lauded the energy exhibited by BJP workers at the ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh.’
“The ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ conveys numerous messages. It reflects the sentiments of the people and the dynamism of BJP workers. Madhya Pradesh is the heart of the nation, and its residents have consistently shown support for the BJP,” PM Modi remarked.
Madhya Pradesh, along with four other states, is scheduled to hold elections later this year. In the 2018 Assembly polls, the Congress secured a narrow majority, leading to Kamal Nath taking office as Chief Minister. However, the Congress government was upended when several of its own legislators defected to the BJP, paving the way for Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s return as Chief Minister.
