Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has claimed that the party will win the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls, and the high command will decide the CM face with the opinion of the winning candidates.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has claimed that the party will win the upcoming Karnataka Assembly polls, and the high command will decide the chief ministerial face with the opinion of the winning candidates.

The Election Commission has announced the election date for all 224 seats in the Karnataka Assembly elections. Voting for the assembly elections in Karnataka will be held on May 10. The results will come on May 13.

Talking to reporters, Kharge said the Congress is strong in Karnataka, and senior party leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, will campaign in the state to increase the party’s strength. He said that Congress is trying in every way to expose the corruption of the BJP government.

Congress workers have worked at the booth level. There is every possibility of Congress winning the election, so apart from Prime Minister Modi himself and Home Minister Amit Shah, other cabinet ministers are also visiting the state.

Kharge said this is the first time in the Karnataka assembly elections that so many people have fallen behind the Congress. But Congress is strong there and will win. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and other senior leaders of our party will also visit the state. However, the Congress president did not specify the seats the party is expected to get in the elections. He said that I could not announce the exact number of seats the congress party would win, but I could say that the party would win.

Earlier today, Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar hit out at the Basavaraj Bommai government, saying the sooner it is dismissed, the better it will be for the state. Shivakumar said that Congress is ready for elections, and we want this government to be dismissed. The sooner this government is dismissed, the better it is for the state and the country. This election will be for a development-oriented and corruption-free state and country.
