According to fire authorities, two people were killed in a major fire that broke out early Sunday at a senior citizen care facility in New Delhi’s Greater Kailash-II neighbourhood.
According to authorities, both fatalities were already dead when the fire was put out and six individuals were safely evacuated from the E Block building. Officials further stated the incident was reported at 5.15 a.m., and four fire tenders were quickly dispatched to extinguish the flames.
According to officials, a team from the fire department and the police department arrived quickly and began the relief and rescue operation.
“The fire was fully out by 7 a.m.,” authorities noted.
Meanwhile, the origin of the fire is being investigated.
