Late on Wednesday evening, a significant fire incident unfolded at a hostel in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar area, prompting a swift response from officials who successfully evacuated nearly half a dozen girls from the premises.
According to authorities, the Delhi Fire Service received an urgent distress call concerning a fire outbreak at the Signature apartment complex in Mukherjee Nagar. In response, a team comprising 20 fire tenders quickly arrived at the scene, launching immediate firefighting efforts.
Remarkably, the situation was brought under control within the span of just one hour. Officials from the Delhi Fire Service confirmed, “The fire has been successfully contained, and the safe evacuation of 5 girls has been accomplished. Ongoing search and rescue operations continue.”
