Delhi-NCR Faces Unseasonal Rains, IMD Issues Weather Alert For Northwest India

Residents of Delhi-NCR were greeted with a sudden change in weather conditions and light on Saturday morning rains freshen the day but it brings an unexpected change. Images from across the country’s capital, including landmarks such as Greater Kailash, India Gate, RK Puram and Janpath, show the illumination at the start of the weekend. Precipitation causes the temperature to drop and the air to be short-lived from the general atmosphere.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that this bad weather has caused a disturbance in the west and the possibility of cyclonic storm has been recorded. It extends to the Northwest Arabian region, with the storm in the lower and middle troposphere in northern Afghanistan and neighboring regions. Sea Pit. In addition, triggered cyclonic circulation is observed over southwestern Rajasthan and adjacent areas of Pakistan, further affecting the weather in Western India.

The region is experiencing high humidity caused by the Arabian Sea, and according to IMD data, this situation is expected to continue until March 3. This has caused widespread to moderate rain with thundershowers, lightning and squalls over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi and is likely to continue till March 2-3.

Temperature readings showed that the minimum temperature was above normal at isolated places in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi. However, the IMD has warned that there will be no major change in the minimum temperature in northwest India in the next three days and it is expected to drop by 3-5 degrees Celsius after that.

Issuing critical weather alert for Western Himalayan region including Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh, heavy snowfall is expected from 1st to 2nd March. Chance of rain or snow on March 2.

IMD has warned that on March 2, remote areas of several states including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Western Uttar Pradesh, Northern Madhya Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan and Northeastern Uttar Pradesh may experience the Salam incident.

Citizens and travelers in the affected areas are advised to follow the weather forecast and take necessary precautions against bad weather conditions. Sudden rains in the National Capital Region of Delhi and strong weather conditions in the western Himalayas and northwestern part of India informed the weather conditions and asked people to be prepared and cautious in the face of such unforeseen situations.
