Controversial posters were displayed at a mosque in Seemapuri, Delhi, sparking significant unrest. The posters, which were provocative in nature, added to the tension in the area.

Following this, inflammatory slogans such as “Bhaag Rohingya Bhaag” (translated as “Run Rohingyas, Run”) appeared on the walls of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). These slogans further exacerbated the already heightened tensions and contributed to the volatile atmosphere.

Reports indicate that later that night, a violent incident occurred in Delhi. Some individuals, accusing waste pickers of being Bangladeshi nationals, launched a brutal attack on them with sticks and other weapons.
