On Friday, Delhi witnessed rain in various parts of the city leading to waterlogging and traffic congestion. The weather office has predicted more rainfall in the coming hours.

According to the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rainfall, with possible thunderstorms and lightning has been predicted in city’s areas such as Preet Vihar, ITO, Akshardham, and other isolated spots in the city over the next few hours.

Meanwhile, during the evening, Central, southern, and parts of northern Delhi witnessed rain.
As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature is expected to reach 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 26.6 degrees Celsius.
