Arab influencer Amjad Taha heaped praises over India and Kashmir ahead of the G20 Summit meeting in Srinagar. Taha called Kashmir ‘paradise on Earth’ and wrote on his Twitter handle, “This is not Switzerland or Austria; this is India, and this is Kashmir where the G20 will take place. It’s called the “paradise on Earth,” a place that has preserved the Earth and can be the solution for climate change.”
He continued, “In Kashmir, we see Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians all living in peace and enjoying their diverse land while contributing to world innovation and development for the future. #Kashmir #India #G20 @narendramodi”
Meanwhile, the third G20 Tourism Working Group meeting in Srinagar is scheduled to take place from May 22 to May 24. The meeting in Jammu and Kashmir aims to initiate transformation in the valley by setting the region on a new trajectory. 20 delegates will also be visiting Gulmarg and Dal Lake.
Meanwhile, China said that it will not attend the G20 meeting in J&K stating that, “China firmly opposes holding any form of G20 meetings on disputed territory. We will not attend such meetings.”
