Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant took part in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Patra Abhiyan on Thursday in Margao. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) initiated the campaign in anticipation of the 2024 General Elections. The chief minister, in an interview with ANI, said that he met with about 20,000 people on Thursday and that he brought Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message to them. Viksit Bharat Sankalp Patra will use the suggestions made by the public to inform its manifesto for the next general elections.
“People are responding well… ST community organised a thanksgiving programme to thank PM Modi for the political reservation to their community… I have met around 20,000 people today and conveyed the message of PM Modi to give suggestions for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Patra as we decide our manifesto based on people’s suggestions,” Sawant said.
The party’s national “Sankalp Patra Sujhav Abhiyan” and “Viksit Bharat-Modi Ki Guarantee Rath” campaigns for the Lok Sabha elections of 2024 were introduced by BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda earlier in February. At more than 250 locations, the BJP hopes to gather over one crore public suggestions for its manifesto. The party stated that suggestions can also be made by missing call 9090902024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development initiatives will be extended to every Lok Sabha constituency through “Viksit Bharat Modi ki Guarantee Rath.” The program calls for the video van to improve connectivity with the party and collect suggestions from the general public.
The public is to be informed and involved about the accomplishments and vision of the government through this initiative. Nadda announced that the process of collecting recommendations for the BJP’s manifesto, which is being drafted, has begun. The party intends to engage with people nationwide by deploying video vans by March 15 in order to gather over one crore recommendations for realizing people’s dreams over the following five years. The Sankalp Patra will be shaped by these public contributions, which will help the party realize its goal of a developed country.
