Police claimed earlier on April 3 that rifles and ammunition, including hand grenades, were recovered near the Vijaypur region of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the police, information concerning one suspicious object was received, and officers hurried to the scene.

Among the items discovered were firearms, grenades, and magazines.
The discovery of a suspected packet came a day after a blast in a private car on Boulevard road in Srinagar on Sunday, causing alarm among those around, according to police. According to police, no one was hurt. According to the authorities, the blast appears to have been caused by equipment failure.
