As polling for the 90-member Haryana Assembly began early in the morning, BJP MP chose an unique means of transportation to caste his vote, A Horse. BJP MP Naveen Jindal, son of independent candidate Savitri jindal, arrived at a polling station in Kurukshetra on horseback to cast his vote for the Haryana Assembly elections on Saturday. The three-time MP, known for his dynamic presence, surprised onlookers and supporters with his unique mode of transportation.
Jindal, who had quit the Congress earlier this year to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, was seen interacting with voters and clicking pictures with supporters at the booth. His arrival on horseback symbolized his deep connection with the constituency’s rural roots, and many interpreted the gesture as a nod to traditional modes of transport.
Speaking briefly to the media, Jindal expressed his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India), emphasizing his desire to contribute to this mission. His decision to join the BJP in March was seen as aligning with the party’s development-oriented agenda.
The polling process witnessed steady voter turnout till 9 am, with political leaders and other important figures casting their vote.
