On Monday, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 14 development projects totaling Rs 143 crore in the Indora Assembly Constituency. Additionally, he chaired the annual function of Government Degree College Indora and announced the establishment of the Rajiv Gandhi Model Day Boarding School in the region. The Chief Minister also declared the opening of the DSP Office at Indora, the construction of a 33 KV substation at Moki (Surdwan), and several other initiatives aimed at enhancing infrastructure and services in the area.
During a public address in Indora, CM Sukhu highlighted the government’s efforts to improve the state’s economy, emphasizing prudent fiscal measures to address financial challenges inherited from the previous administration. He underscored the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability, mentioning the collection of additional revenue and initiatives like the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh-Samman Nidhi Yojna.
Sukhu also addressed attempts to destabilize the democratically elected government, expressing confidence in overcoming such challenges and stressing the importance of serving the people. He criticized opposition tactics and affirmed his dedication to progress and welfare initiatives.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister outlined various achievements and ongoing projects, including the fulfillment of election promises and the implementation of public welfare schemes. He highlighted measures to combat corruption, enhance disaster relief efforts, and promote rural development. The event witnessed the participation of local leaders and dignitaries, who expressed gratitude for the government’s initiatives and support.
CM Sukhu also unveiled infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and irrigation schemes, aimed at enhancing connectivity and agricultural productivity in the region. He emphasized the government’s commitment to holistic development and applauded the efforts of meritorious students during an awards ceremony at Government Degree College Indora.
