In a joint operation with Miyapur Police, the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) arrested three drug peddlers for illegal possession of Narcotic Drugs (Hashish Balls/Chocolates). According to police, 110 Hashish Balls/Chocolates and two mobile phones were seized at the scene.
Dudaram Chowdari and Shanti Devi, a married couple, run a Kiranam general store in Premnagar Colony, Hafeezpet, under Miyapur Police Station. They were illegally selling Hashish (a Ganja product) at Rs 100 per ball while posing as General Stores.
The couple obtained it from a person named Mahender Kumavath, who purchased it in Rajasthan, according to police.
