The full extent of the destruction from the two landslides that ravaged the Mundakkai settlement and two neighboring villages early Tuesday is becoming increasingly clear. The Wayanad landslide has left the nation in mourning as the death toll reached 276, with numbers expected to rise as rescuers continue digging through the vast debris. As rescue operations continue amid the extensive debris, the number of casualties is expected to rise further. More than 200 individuals have been injured, and the Kerala government has confirmed that 227 people remain missing.
