In Pics: Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, The End Of British Rule

India marks “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” today, the day when more than a million people were killed & approximately 15 million uprooted from their land. The end of British rule triggered the most horrifying carnage in our history.

Time to remember the lives that we lost during partition:

Pakistan was established as a Muslim-majority nation following the partition of India under British colonial rule in 1947. This division led to the displacement of millions and the loss of countless lives due to widespread violence.
