INA Market Fire: Two Fatalities Reported as Victims Succumb To Injuries

Two individuals have died following a severe fire at a Chinese fast food shop in the INA Market area on July 29, officials confirmed on Saturday.

Sunil, 46, and Arun, 18, were among the six people who suffered severe burn injuries in the blaze that erupted at around 3 a.m. near Gate Number 2 of the INA Metro Station. Both individuals succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at Safdarjung Hospital.

According to hospital officials, Sunil had sustained 70 percent burns, while Arun was reported to have received critical injuries affecting a significant portion of his body.

The tragic incident has left the community in shock as investigations into the cause of the fire continue. The remaining injured are reported to be in stable condition, and authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
