In an afternoon session at India News Manch 2024, Tripura’s former CM and Lok Sabha MP from west Tripura, Biplab Kumar Deb extensively talked about several topics in the forum, ranging from Haryana to the Caste census with editor-in-chief Rana Yashwant.
Majorly, extensive discussion was focused on Haryana and the leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

Biplab Kumar Dev On Haryana Elections
Meanwhile in an ongoing interaction, Biplab Kumar Dev has recently opened up on BJP’s fate in the state of Haryana.
Responding to a question regarding BJP’s performance at Lok Sabha 2024 election in Haryana and upcoming state election.
In Response, Biplab Kumar Dev emphasized that elections aren’t similar to each other, as under Atal Bihari Vajpayee govt, Bjp scheduled election 1 year early, they won, however when Lok Sabha elections came, the govt led by Manmohan Singh cam into the power.
Hence, overall you can’t depend on Lok Sabha election results and Vidhan Sabha elections are different. In addition, he also commented that in state elections, different equations are needed, if the party properly handles the equation, then that particular party is destined to win.
BJP possess the ability to properly handle the equations, as congress is restricted to family. Hence Bjp’s win in Haryana is almost certain.
How BJP was Different In Haryana?
Moreover, Biplab Kumar deb also responded to Rana Yashwant’s question regarding what difference BJP has made in Haryana, that people might want them back.

In response deb emphasized, that for first the first time in Haryana, a job was provided without any ‘parche’ and ‘Kharche’ thanks to the transparent policy of recruitment.
In the earlier part of the session, while answering question, Biplab also claimed that haryana’s condition wasn’t good and people of Haryana know opposition’s truth.
Moreover he also said, that after BJP came into power, the northern state received a CM who wasn’t restricted state’s one district only.
Biplab Kumar Speaks On Rahul Gandhi
Talking about, the former CM completely criticized the LoP saying that that he should speak about budget and we can political debate, but instead, you are speaking like ‘rajmistri and said that Lop should enjoy certain dignity and standard.
Later responding to a question related to Caste census Kumar also emphasized that he can speak about caste census all he wants, he is in opposition, but the way speaks, it looks time he will present it the next day. Then he posed a question, that tell me from which caste Rahul Gandhi comes from?
In between, he also said that he hasn’t seen a leader of opposition, who is interrupted so much, atleast in his career as a politician.
