A metalware company based in Jaipur, known as IRIS-Jaipur, has supplied gold and silver-plated tableware to luxury hotels in New Delhi for the G20 Summit delegates.

The company recently unveiled its traditional cutlery designed to serve food to Heads of State and other world leaders attending the G20 Summit in the national capital.

According to the firm, various luxury hotels in New Delhi have been tasked with furnishing silver and gold-plated cutlery for serving food to foreign delegates during their stay.

IRIS-Jaipur, headquartered in Jaipur, has been selected as the provider for these hotels, delivering bulk orders of gold and silver-plated tableware. The company’s craftsmanship has made it a trusted partner for renowned hotels, including Leela Palaces, ITC Hotels (including the prestigious ITC Maurya), Taj Palaces, Oberoi Hotels, The Lodhi, Hyatt Regency, Shangri-La, Hotel Ashoka, Radisson Blu Plaza, JW Marriott, Sheraton, and The Leela Ambience Convention, among other esteemed venues.

Rajeev Pabuwal, the CEO of IRIS Metalware, expressed, “As the G20 summit prepares to showcase our rich culinary heritage to world leaders, each piece of tableware and decor embodies India’s culture, art, and hospitality. Our tableware at the G20 Summit is not merely silver; it reflects India’s resplendent spirit.”

To meet the demand from luxury hotels and the ITC company, IRIS has fulfilled custom orders of tableware in bulk for G20 foreign delegates.

“We have upheld our commitment to present Indian tradition to world leaders through our cutlery. In line with India’s rich heritage and global significance, the theme, ‘Fusion Elegance,’ underscores the harmonious fusion of premium materials, with a focus on electroplated silver,” stated an official statement from IRIS.

According to the G20 secretariat, ITC is responsible for catering at the convention center, offering a menu featuring regional cuisine, street food, and millet-based dishes.

The menu for the G20 Leaders’ Summit on September 9-10 will feature a variety of street food and inventive millet-based dishes for world leaders and delegates.

India is poised to host the G20 Summit in New Delhi from September 9-10, with world leaders converging in the city for this prestigious event. The summit will take place at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

It’s worth noting that India assumed the G20 presidency on December 1 of the previous year, and approximately 200 meetings related to the G20 have been conducted in 60 cities across the country in the lead-up to this significant event.
