An ID blast occurred last night in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. This explosion was so terrible that a big pit was formed in the ground. There has been an atmosphere of panic in the area since the blast. On Thursday, the search operation is being conducted in the entire area. An extensive search operation in the area has been happening since this morning.
SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh Janwal said the explosion was reported at around 9.30 pm on Wednesday. “We have also launched a search operation on Thursday morning. The bomb disposal squad has collected samples from the spot and sent them for testing,” the SSP said.
The search operation has been going on since morning in Kathua’s Sanyal. During the search, a grenade was found near the police post. From where the grenade was found, a blast was in the same area at night.
This search operation is being conducted under SSP Kathua Shivdeep Singh Janwal. The search operation is underway at the border police outpost Sanyal near the international border under the Hiranagar police station. Security has also been tightened in the entire area. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area.
There was a huge explosion near the Sanyal Police Post of Border Police Kathua adjacent to the Hiranagar International Border. The local police were alerted here as soon as the blast was reported. Soon after the blast, SSP Shivdeep Singh Janwal from Kathua district also left for the spot. The bomb disposal squad also reached the spot and searched the area.
Being a border area, drone attack from across the border is also possible. In the initial investigation, this grenade blast is being told. At present, the matter is being investigated. Police are running a search operation in the area.
