JP Nadda Stresses Kerala’s Development as Crucial for India’s Progress

During a roadshow in Kozhikode, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda underscored the significance of Kerala’s development in the broader context of India’s advancement, stating, “When Kerala develops, only then India develops.”

Nadda emphasized the need for active participation in the development process and voiced support for Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in propelling the nation forward. He lauded the transformative initiatives undertaken during Modi’s tenure, highlighting India’s ascent from the 11th to the 5th economic power globally.

In a separate development, Nadda was sworn in as a member of the Rajya Sabha in Delhi, with Vice-President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Jagdeep Dhankhar, administering the oath. Nadda assumed office as an elected member of Rajya Sabha from Gujarat.

The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Kerala, scheduled for April 26, are poised to be a crucial political event. In the 2019 general elections, the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) secured victory in 19 out of 20 constituencies, with the Congress clinching 15 seats.

With the forthcoming elections set to unfold in seven phases starting April 19, over 96.8 crore eligible voters across the nation are poised to cast their votes at over 12 lakh polling stations. The culmination of the electoral process will culminate in the counting of votes on June 4, shaping the political landscape of the nation.
