Kanjhawala Case: 2 More People Involved, Claims Police

In Delhi’s Kanjhawala case, the police have made many big revelations. Addressing a press conference, special CP Law and Order Sagar Preet Hooda said two more accused were involved in the incident. In the investigation, the police got new CCTV footage of the accused after the incident.

Special CP said that our 18 teams are investigating the matter. We have arrested five accused, and they are being interrogated. In inquiry, we have learned that two more people, Ashutosh and Ankush Khanna, are involved in this. Police are conducting raids to arrest both accused.

Sagar Preet Hooda said that we are trying to arrest two other accused. The police officer said that these two other accused had tried to tamper with the evidence and had given wrong information while trying to help the accused. All aspects are being investigated. He said that the police are trying to file the charge sheet as soon as possible so that the accused can be punished severely. He said that we had recorded the statement of the eyewitness.

The police officer said that the incident occurred between 2:04 am and 2:06 am. The body of the girl was found at around 4.15 am. The distance between the two places where the incident occurred and where the body was found is about 10-12 km, but it is not possible to say how long the body was dragged. We are also conducting an internal inquiry into the delay in police PCR response. If there is a human error, action will be taken against those responsible.
