Kanjhawala case: Rohini Court grants 14 days of judicial custody of accused

On Monday, Rohini Court in the national capital granted all six defendants in the Kanjhawala death case, in which a 20-year-old woman was dragged to death by a vehicle on January 1. On Monday, the Delhi Police requested judicial custody of all suspects in the Kanjawala death case. The court ordered the Delhi Police to respond to Ashutosh’s bail application by tomorrow, January 1. (10).

On Monday, Delhi Police sources revealed that the accused were aware of Anjali being trapped beneath their automobile within minutes of her scooty being hit by them.

“The accused in the car did not take Anjali out because the accused were afraid that if they got down from the car and took Anjali out, they might get into legal trouble if someone saw them,” said the Delhi Police sources.

During their questioning with the Delhi Police, the accused discussed their predicament; however, the police claim that there is a conflict in their claims, therefore every angle is being thoroughly explored.
Ashutosh, the sixth suspect in the January 1 incident, was apprehended by Delhi Police on Friday. Ashutosh may be seen chatting to the accused two hours after the event on CCTV.

Ankush is the case’s eighth arrested suspect. According to Delhi Police, he is the guy who conspired with the other accused, and after the incident, he assisted the other accused in fleeing by organising an auto.

According to Delhi Police, CCTV visuals show that at 4:07 am one of the accused arrived to meet Ashutosh and later Ashutosh is seen going in and out of his house several times.

According to the police, the accused who arrived is none other than Ankush, the seventh accused.
The matter is being investigated by 18 Delhi Police units. During the interrogation, it was discovered that Amit Khanna, not Deepak, was driving the automobile. “We are trying to file the charge sheet as early as possible. During the post-mortem, no evidence of sexual assault was found,” the Special CP said.
