Kargil War Diwas: From Raveena Tandon to Nawaz sharif, India’s Present To Pakistan During Kargil War

Raveena Tandon, a star from the 90s, is now 49 years old but still captivates with her beauty. She started her acting career with the film “Patthar Ke Phool” in 1991 and won the Filmfare Lux New Face Award for it. Some of her well-known films include “Mohra” (1994), “Andaz Apna Apna” (1994), “Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi” (1996), “Ziddi” (1997), and “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” (1998). Raveena is praised for her acting and has won several awards.

During the Kargil War, the Indian Air Force dropped a missile on Pakistan with the message, “To Nawaz Sharif from Raveena Tandon,” along with a heart and arrow next to their names.

In a Twitter discussion, Raveena talked about this event, saying she saw it much later. She advised that if conflicts can be resolved through love and dialogue, we should pursue that. She added, “Blood is red on both sides of the border. No one should take pride in a mother losing her children. If needed, give me a gun, and I’ll defend my country myself.”

This sentiment is also reflected in the film “Shershaah,” which tells the story of Kargil War hero Captain Vikram Batra. Nawaz Sharif had also shown his admiration for Raveena Tandon during a visit to India at that time.
