Air Marshal Dilip Patnaik, former Eastern Air Force chief and Kargil War veteran who recently joined the BJP, expressed his views on the governance model under Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. decision to join the party.
Patnaik, who served the country for 40 years in the Indian Air Force, noted that there have been significant changes in the administration since 2014 and emphasized these changes for the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Citing his nationalism, he hailed the BJP as a party committed to the progress of the country.
Patnaik praises PM Modi’s move to revoke Article 370 economic reforms and improve India’s global position and expresses confidence in the capital nature of the BJP to take the country forward.
Justifying his decision to join the BJP, Patnaik talked about his experiences as several presidents and pointed out the change in governance during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure. He specifically touched upon the principle of “minimum government, maximum management” advocated by the Prime Minister, and expressed his desire to serve the people in this way.
Patnaik joined BJP in Odisha in the presence of senior leaders. He spoke about Prime Minister Modi’s vision of achieving India’s development by 2047 and expressed his desire to contribute to achieving this goal through collaboration with the party.
The timing of Patnaik’s decision to join the BJP is important as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching in April-May. He expressed his commitment to serve the nation and realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a prosperous India.
