Kolkata Rape-Murder Case: Initial Autopsy Report Makes Chilling Revelation On Doctor’s Death

In a shocking development concerning the murder & rape of a 31-year-old doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical Hospital, the initial autopsy report confirms, that a violent assault indeed happened.

Making a chilling revelation, the report reveals  ‘There was bleeding from both her eyes and mouth, injuries over the face and nail. The victim was also bleeding from her private parts. She also has injuries in her belly, left leg… neck, in her right hand, ring finger and…’

Further, the autopsy also dismissed the possibility of suicide.

Speaking to PTI, the police officer revealed ‘This is definitely not a case of suicide; the woman was murdered following sexual assault.’

‘Her neck bone was also found broken. It seems that she was first strangulated and then smothered to death. We are waiting for the full report of the autopsy.’ added police officer.

What Happened So Far In This Case?

Meanwhile, the police have detained a suspect in connection with the death of a female postgraduate trainee doctor.

As per police officer, the arrested man was an outsider with unrestricted access to the hospital’s departments. In addition, the authorities have also questioned five individuals who were on duty with her on Thursday night.

Speaking to PTI, the senior police officer said ‘We have arrested one person, who is an outsider. His activities are quite suspicious and he seems to be directly involved in the crime.’

Meanwhile, this incident has generated a political war between BJP and TMC, with BJP & other opposition parties demanding CBI probe into the matter.
