Lok Sabha 2024 Dates Out Tomorrow, Here’s A Look At 2019 Results

The Election Commission of India is set to announce the schedule for the 2024 Lok Sabha Election tomorrow. The announcement will take place at 3 pm, revealing the phase-wise schedule spread across seven phases starting in early April, similar to the last general elections. The counting of votes is expected to occur in May, with the tenure of the 17th Lok Sabha ending on June 16.

Tomorrow is a crucial day for India as the dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be out. Meanwhile, Let’s take a look at the 2019 LokmSabha Election Results,
The General elections for 2019 were held in seven phases from 11 April to 19 May 2019. Talking about the voter count in the last Lok Sabha polls, over 912 million people were eligible to vote, and the voter turnout was around 67%. After that, the Votes were counted, and on 23rd May, the election results were declared. Following the election results, Narendra Modi took the oath of office as Prime Minister on 30th May before President Ram Nath Kovind.

The Bhartiya Janta Party secured a significant victory, leading to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return for a second term with 303 seats in Parliament’s lower house. The election saw a record high of 912 million eligible voters, with a voter turnout exceeding 67%, marking a notable increase in women voter participation.
