A significant fire erupted on Thursday morning (March 7) in an apartment at the 16th Avenue Society of Gaur City 2 in Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh, leading to concerns of several individuals being trapped. The fire reportedly extended to another flat, prompting the swift deployment of fire tenders to the scene.
As a thick cloud of smoke billowed into the sky, residents hurriedly evacuated the premises. While the cause of the fire remains unknown, fire officials have confirmed that the situation is under control, and as of now, there have been no reported casualties.
An official from the Fire Department said, “The reason for the fire is not yet known, fire tenders have reached the spot. Fire has been brought under control.” Emergency services, including ambulances, have been mobilized to 16th Avenue, and fire brigades from nearby areas are actively engaged in extinguishing the flames and ensuring the safety of the residents.

The video footage depicts residents of the high-rise building urgently exiting the premises amidst the engulfing black smoke. Authorities are yet to release more details on the fire’s origin and the extent of the damage caused.
