Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its manifesto for the impending Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections On Saturday. The launch ceremony witnessed the presence of party president JP Nadda, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and BJP state unit chief VD Sharma. The manifesto outlines the party’s commitments, including the pledge to offer free education to girls from economically disadvantaged families up to post-graduation. Additionally, the saffron party promises the procurement of wheat at Rs 2,700 and paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal.
While unveiling the manifesto for the Madhya Pradesh polls, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed, “Under the assurance of PM Modi, this manifesto is not just a document but a roadmap for the development and well-being of Madhya Pradesh residents. I take pride in stating that we’ve strived to fulfill our commitments. Addressing the alarming issue of female feticide, we introduced initiatives like the Ladli Laxmi Yojana.”
