As Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra approaches its conclusion in Maharashtra, a massive rally is scheduled for Sunday at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park, where many leaders from the INDIA bloc are expected to participate, according to Congress state chief Nana Patole.
Patole informed ANI on Friday, “A significant rally is planned to welcome Rahul Gandhi, with leaders from the INDIA bloc in attendance.”
Praising Rahul Gandhi and his impending end to the Nyay Yatra on Sunday, the senior Congress leader stated, “Rahul Gandhi’s leadership is trusted and highly anticipated by people across the country, including those in the INDIA bloc.
His dedication and fight for the nation, its Constitution, and democracy are widely recognized.”
Regarding the Congress meeting on Friday, Patole mentioned, “The meeting focused on election preparations.”
The mega rally on Sunday will mark the beginning of the INDIA bloc’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Rahul Gandhi’s rally in Maharashtra coincides with a period where several party leaders from the state have switched to the BJP, notably former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, who joined the BJP in Mumbai on February 13.
Recently, senior party leader Padmakar Valvi also joined the BJP, with the event witnessed by BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule and party leader Ashok Chavan in Mumbai.
A few weeks earlier, Basavaraj Patil joined the BJP in the presence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrakant Patil.
