Mumbai Police told media that the Congress Leader was murdered in Mumbai’s byculla area. Nationalist Congress Party leader Sachin Kurmi was stabbed by unidentified people last night in Mumbai’s Byculla area. The reports reveal that the incident took place around 12:30 AM last night. According to the Mumbai Police, Kurmi was attacked with a sharp weapon.
Mumbai police said ” NCP ( Ajit Pawar Faction) leader Sachin Kurmi was murdered by unidentified persons with a sharp-edged weapon in Mumbai’s Byculla area last night. A case is registered and the investigation has been started on the same”
Police reached the spot as soon as they got the information, and sent the Congress Leader to the nearby JJ Hospital, after proper checking doctors of the hospital declared Kurki dead.
” The incident happened around 12:30 in mid-night. When the police got the information about the incident, we reached the spot and took the injured Sachin to the nearby JJ Hospital, where the doctor declared the leader dead after checking. The police took the body into custody and then sent it for post mortem”
After the death of the leader, the body was taken into custody and was sent for post-mortem. It is still not clear how many people were involved in the murder, but reports suggest that 2-3 people were involved in this inhuman act.
This murder has raised security concerns in the region and further details about the case are yet to be revealed.
