In a significant development related to the NEET-UG 2024 controversy, the Supreme Court ask NTA to avoid ‘Flip flops’ and revealed the reason, why it didn’t cancel the exam?
While issuing its detailed reasons for the order, a bench consisting of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and justices JB Pardiwala & Manoj Misra has asked NTA to avoid ‘Flip Flops’.
‘NTA must stop its flip-flop which was noticed this year as it does not serve the interest of students…These flip-flops in the NTA do not serve the interest of the students said CJI.

Later, it issued a range of directions and enhanced the scope of the centre-appointed panel, which is led by ex-ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan, to evaluate the NTA’s operations and suggest reforms for the examination process.
