‘Not Satisfied’: Rahul Gandhi on PM Modi’s speech

"Why were my words expunged?," Congress leader questioned amid the ongoing address of PM Modi a day after the former launched a series of charges against the PM in the Parliament.

‘Not Satisfied’: Rahul Gandhi on PM Modi’s speech

As Congress leader Rahul Gnadhi reached the Parliament amid the ongoing Lok Sabha address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the former questioned why sections of his speech were wiped from parliament records as he doubled down on his criticism on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his links with billionaire Gautam Adani.

“I’m not satisfied with (PM’s speech). No talk about inquiry happened. If he (Gautam Adani) is not a friend then he (PM) should have said that inquiry should be conducted. It’s clear that the PM is protecting him (Gautam Adani),” Rahul Gandhi said.

“It’s clear the Prime Minister is trying to protect him. It’s a matter of national security and infrastructure. The Prime Minister should have said, ‘We will get it checked”. But he didn’t,” he added.

On Tuesday, the Congress leader launched a stinging attack in parliament on PM Modi and Gautam Adani, whose companies have come under scrutiny after US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research accused the trio of stock manipulation and accounting fraud.
