Minutes after the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha began their sessions on Monday, both chambers were postponed until 2 p.m. as opposition MPs raised protests demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) enquiry into the Adani stocks problem.

The sixth day of the second leg of the Budget Session has arrived. As the Lok Sabha adjourned for the day, opposition lawmakers approached the Speaker’s podium to seek a Joint Parliamentary Committee inquiry into the Hindenburg-Adani controversy. Members of the BJP also demanded that Rahul Gandhi apologise for his statements in the United Kingdom.

The Congress said that the audio was muffled when they shouted shouts demanding that Rahul Gandhi be allowed to reply to charges levelled by BJP leaders against him.

They said that for around 20 minutes of the House proceedings, there was no audio.
But, official sources stated the audio was muffled due to a “technical malfunction”.

The Rajya Sabha was also disrupted and postponed for the day. Formerly, the home took up some of the listed business.

Outside of Parliament, the squabbles continued, with BJP and Congress politicians attacking each other over Rahul Gandhi’s words and the Adani problem.
On March 13, the second portion of the Budget session began.
