Union Agriculture Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar inaugurated the Startup Conclave 2023 organized by Laghu Udyog Bharti at the Chamber of Commerce Auditorium in Gwalior on Sunday.
“We came out of the British slavery mentality, and today the entire scenario has changed, thanks to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi,” he said in his address.
The Union Minister said, “There was a time when we were not able to recognize the talent in our country due to lack of appropriate environment and people were forced to go abroad to showcase their talent. But today, it is not so. PM Modi took note of the situation and worked to create a positive environment in the country, as a result of which not only India but the entire world has changed.”
He said that the number of Indian startups has increased dramatically and that the number is above 2,000 in agricluture sector alone.
“There used to be only 31-32 startups in the country, but today their number has increased to more than 6,500. In the agriculture sector alone, their number is above 2,000. Whole world is recognizing and acknowledging India’s power,” Mr. Tomar said.
Union Minister Shri Tomar stated that under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership, India’s identity has been established throughout the world, and its strength has increased.
“India’s strength can be gauged from when PM Modi said ‘Let our children out first’ and the Russia-Ukraine war came to a halt. Similarly, American President Biden itroduced PM Modi saying ‘One Sun, One World, One Modi’ and the whole world is proud of India’s prowess,” he added.
MSME Minister in the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Vivek Shejwalkar Mr. Omprakash Saklecha, Member of Parliament, Mr. Prakash Chandra, National Organization Minister of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Mr. Baldev Bhai Prajapati, All India General Secretary Mr. Ghanshyam Ojha, and All India Secretary Mr. Sameer Mundra were also present at the Startup Conclave inauguration.
