Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a series of development projects worth Rs 7,200 crore in Sangareddy, Telangana, on Tuesday. These projects span various crucial sectors including road, rail, petroleum, and natural gas.
Among the projects inaugurated by the Prime Minister are three National Highway projects. These include the four-lane, 40 km long Kandi to Ramsanpalle section of NH-161, a vital part of the Indore-Hyderabad Economic Corridor. Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated the upgrade of the 47 km long Miryalaguda to Kodad Section of NH-167 and laid the foundation stone for the six-laning of the 29 km long Pune-Hyderabad Section of NH-65.
Furthermore, PM Modi flagged off the inaugural MMTS Train Service from Ghatkesar to Lingampalli via Moula Ali and Sanathnagar, extending suburban train services to new areas in Hyderabad-Secunderabad. He also inaugurated the Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, a 1212 km pipeline traversing through Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated the Civil Aviation Research Organization (CARO) center in Hyderabad, aimed at upgrading R&D activities in the civil aviation sector. CARO, built at a cost of over Rs 350 crores, will provide a global research platform for the aviation community, focusing on safety, capacity, efficiency improvement programs, and addressing airspace and airport challenges.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Telangana is part of his three-day tour, which also includes visits to Tamil Nadu, Odisha, West Bengal, and Bihar from March 4 to 6.
