Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to begin a three-day tour across Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam. His visit kicks off in Madhya Pradesh, where he will lay the foundation stone for the ₹218-crore Bageshwar Dham Medical and Science Research Institute in Chhatarpur. The next day, he will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal and meet BJP MPs, MLAs, and top party functionaries to discuss organizational strategies.

After his engagements in Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi will travel to Bihar and then Assam, where he will launch the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit, aimed at boosting the state’s economy and investment potential.

Political Tensions Are Rising

In Delhi, political tensions are rising as AAP leader Atishi has sought a meeting with newly elected CM Rekha Gupta regarding the BJP’s promised ₹2,500 monthly aid to women. In a letter, Atishi questioned why the scheme was not approved in the new government’s first Cabinet meeting, despite PM Modi’s campaign assurances. She argued that women who believed in “Modi’s guarantee” now feel betrayed.

BJP leaders, including CM Gupta, have reaffirmed that the scheme will be implemented from March, as promised. Ahead of the new Assembly session, BJP MLAs are set to meet at the party’s Delhi unit office to discuss House conduct and legislative priorities.

In Chhattisgarh, voters are gearing up for the third and final phase of the panchayat elections on Sunday. A total of 53.28 lakh eligible voters will decide the fate of 30,990 ward panchs, 3,802 sarpanchs, 1,122 janpad panchayat members, and 145 Zila panchayat members. The results of this phase will be announced on February 25.

With PM Modi’s high-profile tour, political tensions in Delhi, and crucial panchayat elections in Chhattisgarh, the coming days will be politically charged, setting the stage for significant developments across India.
