On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his third ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of the year. The 99th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ the Prime Minister’s monthly radio programme, will air today at 11 a.m. The programme, which began on the occasion of Vijayadashami on October 3, 2014, has 98 editions to date. The last episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ aired on February 26. Its first episode aired on October 3, 2014.
‘Mann ki Baat’ is a monthly address broadcast on All India Radio on the last Sunday of each month in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with the people of India.
The show will be broadcast across the entire network of All India Radio and Doordarshan, as well as on the AIR News website and the newsonair mobile app. It will also be broadcast live on the channels of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, AIR News, DD News, the PMO, and YouTube. Following the Hindi broadcast, the programme will be broadcast in regional languages by AIR.
In the previous programme, the Prime Minister discussed a variety of topics while also announcing the winners of the ‘Unity Day’ special three competitions. He also spoke about the replacement of plastic bags and the revival of ‘Tribeni Kumbho Mohotshav’ in Bansberia, West Bengal.
The campaign will begin on March 15 and will end on April 29, one day before the historic 100th episode. The campaign will be broadcast on 42 Vividh Bharati stations, 25 FM Rainbow channels, 4 FM Gold channels, and 159 Primary channels across the country. The bytes will be broadcast on all major bulletins in all regions. Citizens can also listen to the programme on the ‘News On AIR’ App and the All India Radio YouTube channels.
Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister’s one-of-a-kind and direct communication with citizens via radio, has 98 episodes to date. It has served as the catalyst, medium, and amplifier for social movements such as Swachh Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, water conservation, and Vocal for Local, among others.
