PM Modi to inaugurate Vande Bharat express, 2 infra projects in Mumbai

PM Modi will inaugurate two Vande Bharat trains, as well as infrastructure projects and the Mumbai campus of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah Arabic Academy.

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give the green light to two new Vande Bharat trains from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

PM Modi will inaugurate two Vande Bharat trains, as well as infrastructure projects and the Mumbai campus of Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah Arabic Academy, which is located in Marol in Mumbai’s western suburbs. His second visit to Mumbai coincides with the upcoming elections for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

Because of PM Modi’s visit, traffic restrictions have been implemented between 2.45 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. in the vicinity of CST and Andheri. According to traffic officials, Central Railways has organised a programme at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus platform Number 18, and a public programme at Aljamea-Tas-Saifiyah in Marol Campus at Andheri (East) is also scheduled for Friday, with a large number of citizens expected to attend.

The new and improved Vande Bharat Express will run between Mumbai and Solapur, as well as Mumbai and Sainagar Shirdi. The Mumbai-Solapur train, the country’s ninth Vande Bharat train, will connect the country’s commercial capital to the City of Textiles and Hutatmas in Maharashtra, as well as provide faster access to pilgrimage sites such as Siddheshwar in Solapur, Akkalkot, Tuljapur, Pandharpur near Solapur, and Alandi near Pune.

According to Railways, the current superfast train takes 7 hours 55 minutes to complete the same journey, whereas Vande Bharat will take 6 hours 30 minutes, saving 1 hour 30 minutes of travel time. It will also connect pilgrimage sites, a textile hub, tourist attractions, and Pune’s education hub.

The Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi Vande Bharat Train is the country’s tenth Vande Bharat Train. The Vande Bharat Express will improve access to important pilgrimage sites in Maharashtra, including Nashik, Trimbakeshwar, Sainagar Shirdi, and Shani Singapur.

The Vande Bharat Train is a self-propelled, semi-high-speed train set manufactured in India. The train is outfitted with cutting-edge passenger amenities, allowing passengers to travel much faster, more comfortably, and conveniently.
