PM Modi’s Ayodhya Visit on December 30 to Feature Roadshow for Inauguration of Airport and Railway Station

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to make a significant visit to Ayodhya on December 30, marking the inauguration of the Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport and Ayodhya railway station. Commissioner of Ayodhya, Gaurav Dayal, revealed that the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for 29 development projects valued at over ₹3,284.60 crore during his visit.

In addition to the infrastructure inaugurations, PM Modi is expected to conduct a roadshow and address a public gathering, adding to the festive atmosphere in the holy city. Commissioner Dayal outlined the comprehensive arrangements in place for the Prime Minister’s visit, emphasizing the availability of all necessary facilities in local hospitals. He also noted the preparation of a backup plan from Ayodhya to Lucknow for high-end medical services.

“The airport and the railway station, prepared in the first phase, are going to be inaugurated. After January 22, approximately 50,000-55,000 people are expected to visit Ayodhya daily, and the administration is actively preparing for the influx,” Commissioner Dayal stated.

The Prime Minister is anticipated to signal the commencement of railway operations by showing a green flag, followed by addressing a public meeting near the airport. The journey from the airport to the railway station will take the form of a roadshow, with elaborate arrangements underway to welcome PM Modi.

Crucially, the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram is slated to occur in the newly constructed temple in Ayodhya on January 22. The Uttar Pradesh government has allocated a budget of ₹100 crore for Ramotsav, a series of events spanning from December 30 to January 22, commemorating the consecration at the Ram Temple.

As Ayodhya gears up for this momentous occasion, the administration has embarked on a city beautification initiative, including road widening and infrastructure refurbishment. A notable guest list of 7000 individuals, including 3000 VVIPs, has been invited to participate in the consecration ceremony, emphasizing the significance of this religious event.
