Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Australia, which is the final leg of his three-nation visit. The PM was greeted at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney Olympic Park with Vedic chanting. PM Modi’s Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese greeted the politician with a warm hug, amid reverberating cheers. He was also welcomed in India traditions, as per ANI. Priests who were present at the event chanted prayers as they welcomed the PM.
Furthermore, a cultural program was also held at the Qudos Bank Arena for the PM where several artists performed various styles, from Bharatnatyam to Garba. This is the PM’s first visit to Australia after 2014.
Following the program, PM Modi addresed a rally in Sydney.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Sydney on Monday as part of the third and final leg of his three-nation visit. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by Australian High Commissioner to India BBarry O’Farrell and other officials.
