Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to witness a synchronized exhibition of indigenous defense capabilities through a Tri-Services Live Fire and Manoeuvre Exercise at Pokhran, Rajasthan on Tuesday. Dubbed ‘Bharat Shakti,’ the exercise will showcase a variety of indigenous weapon systems and platforms, underscoring the country’s prowess and commitment to the Aatmanirbharata initiative, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The demonstration will replicate realistic, synergized, multi-domain operations, displaying the integrated operational capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces to counter threats across land, air, sea, cyber, and space domains.

Highlighted equipment and weapons systems featured in the exercise encompass T-90 (IM) Tanks, Dhanush and Sarang Gun Systems, Akash Weapons Systems, Logistics Drones, Robotic Mules, Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH), and an array of unmanned aerial vehicles from the Indian Army, showcasing advanced ground warfare and aerial surveillance capabilities.
The Indian Navy will exhibit Naval Anti-Ship Missiles, Autonomous Cargo Carrying Aerial Vehicles, and Expendable Aerial Targets, emphasizing maritime strength and technological sophistication. Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force will deploy indigenously developed assets such as the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, Light Utility Helicopters, and Advanced Light Helicopters, showcasing air superiority and versatility in air operations.
Bharat Shakti serves as a clear indication of India’s preparedness to confront and overcome contemporary and future challenges with home-grown solutions.
