Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused his government of cheating the youth, saying the prime minister wanted the youth to sing “Jai Shri Ram” only when they faced hunger. During the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Shahjapur, Madhya Pradesh, the Congress MP also advocated for a caste-based census and said such a survey would ensure justice for the people.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra continues from Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district, starting from Sarangpur with a large number of members. In addition, Gandhi also plans to visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple (a Jyotirlinga temple) in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, during the Hajj. This is his second visit to the temple during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, with the last one on November 29, 2022.

Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra entered Madhya Pradesh on March 2 and will continue in the state until March 6. Congress Party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ is the party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’. The aim of the course is to cover 6,700 km across 15 states in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections. Lok Sabha elections are expected to be held in April-May this year.
