Rahul Gandhi accuses PM Modi: Urges Youth, Starve, Jai Shri Ram

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and accused his government of cheating the youth, saying the prime minister wanted the youth to sing “Jai Shri Ram” only when they faced hunger. During the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Shahjapur, Madhya Pradesh, the Congress MP also advocated for a caste-based census and said such a survey would ensure justice for the people.

Talking about the protest, Rahul Gandhi said: “Our policy is very clear; people can ensure justice in society only through census. They can lead a green, free or digital revolution. But the Prime Minister wants our youth to spend the whole day on their phones chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ ‘ and then starve to death (bhukhe raho aur mar jao) ”
