Following Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut’s call for the reinstatement of the three farm laws and her subsequent retracting of her statement, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has demanded clarification from Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the government’s position on the legislation.
Taking to X, Rahul Gandhi said “Who is deciding the government’s policy? A BJP MP or Prime Minister Modi?” Thus, questioning whether the Prime Minister supports revival of the repealed laws and later, emphasized that the opposition bloc, known as INDIA, would unite to fight against any such revival.
“Even after the martyrdom of more than 700 farmers, especially the farmers of Haryana and Punjab, the BJP people are not satisfied. INDIA will not allow any conspiracy of BJP against our farmers to succeed – If any step is taken to harm the farmers, Modi ji will have to apologize again.” said Rahul Gandhi.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut’s recently sparked controversy, as she argued that the repealed farm laws were beneficial for farmers and should be reinstated.
