On Tuesday morning, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ recommenced from Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district. Rahul Gandhi initiated the yatra from Sarangpur in the presence of a large gathering of Congress party workers. He rode in an open Jeep, exchanging greetings with party supporters carrying the party flag.
During this yatra, Gandhi is scheduled to visit the Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain, one of the Jyotirlinga temples. This visit to the temple marks his second during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the previous one being on November 29, 2022.
Jairam Ramesh, Congress General Secretary in-charge of Communications, mentioned that it is the 52nd day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, and around 2 pm, Rahul Gandhi will offer prayers at the Mahakaleshwar Temple. He highlighted the significance of Ujjain, being the only city included in both the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra entered Madhya Pradesh on March 2 and will continue until March 6. This yatra, following the Congress’s earlier Bharat Jodo Yatra, aims to traverse 6,700 km across 15 states, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls scheduled for April-May this year.
