Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to address a ‘Maha Kisan Rally’ in Raipur district, Chhattisgarh, on March 3. The rally aims to connect with farmers, and more than 1 lakh farmers are expected to participate. The event will serve as an outreach program to inform farmers about the beneficial schemes undertaken by the Modi government. Additionally, farmers will have the opportunity to provide suggestions and express their concerns.
Rajkumar Chahar, National President of BJP Kisan Morcha, highlighted the significance of the rally, emphasizing that it would focus on understanding farmers’ problems and gathering their suggestions. Ballot boxes will be available for farmers to write down their suggestions or problems, contributing to the government’s consideration.
Chahar praised the Modi government’s initiatives for farmers, including the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Crop Insurance Scheme. The rally will involve raising awareness about the benefits of these schemes. State ministers and public representatives are also expected to participate in the event.
