A fraud case involving 50 lakhs has been uncovered, with Deepak Sharma, the jailer at Delhi’s Tihar Jail, being the victim. Simultaneously, Jailor Deepak Sharma has reported the incident to the police. The jailer alleges that he was ensnared through a health product business scheme, masterminded by a couple.
Residing in West Vinod Nagar, Delhi, Deepak Sharma has registered a complaint against the accused at the Madhu Vihar police station in East Delhi. However, the implicated couple has fled the area.

The most recent victim of financial theft in the nation’s capital is a police officer with the rank of ASP. The officer, Deepak Sharma, is a fitness enthusiast and is employed as a jailor in Tihar Jail’s Jail No. 3 in Delhi. Additionally, he has already won a number of bodybuilding competitions.

Police spokesperson Kodipak Sharma noted that Deepak Sharma had participated in the reality show ‘Ultimate Warrior’ on the Discovery Channel, where he crossed paths with another contestant, Raunak Gulia.

As per Deepak Sharma’s account, Raunak Gulia introduced her husband Ankit Gulia as a successful health product entrepreneur and encouraged him to join their lucrative business. Deepak Sharma alleges that both Raunak and Ankit Gulia convinced him to invest 50 lakh rupees in their health supplement product, promising significant profits and the opportunity to become brand ambassadors for the product.

Deepak Sharma has apprehended the couple and urged them to refund the entire sum. Initially, he was unaware of their hidden intentions. Feeling deceived when the money was not returned, he took action. Concurrently, a police official stated that a case has been filed, and an investigation is underway. Both the husband-and-wife accused are currently evading authorities, but the police is actively working to locate them.
