Clarification on Inheritance Tax Remarks
Pitroda sought to clear the air regarding his previous comments on inheritance tax. He clarified, “I never said there should be an inheritance tax in India. All I said is there is inheritance in America.” He suggested that India could take inspiration from American policy to raise resources for equitable wealth distribution.
